The energy of spring is so fun. The outdoors are in bloom. The sun is warming and the rain is making the earth greener and more vibrant all the time. Folks are getting outside more, going for walks, working in the yard and gearing up for spring vacations. Swimsuits are coming so the motivation to exercise is growing. If you want a workout partner, now is an opportune time to find one.
Spring forward with goals set for this year. Use this fresh energy to get out the door, on the mat, put the running shoes on, dust off the bike, jump in the pool, and get moving toward goals.
In my yoga class as we move through the transition from winter to spring, we will work on hip openers, balance and strength. Hips are the power house for movement. Keeping the range of motion and strength in the hips is really important to keep doing the activities we love.
